Your new role
Providing financial management for the business and ensuring the business complies with statutory financial responsibilities as well as protecting & progressing the company's growth in UK and international markets. Managing all aspects of the accounts function, reviewing accounting procedures and making changes to improve efficiency & control costs. Annual budget. Monthly management accounts. Cash flow forecasts. Analysis of costings and profitability of various areas of the business. Monthly payroll. VAT & intrastat returns. Financial information for grant applications. Liaising with bank & invoice discounters. Staff training & development. Attending board & senior management meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), although my client will look at an exceptional "qualified by experience". You should have experience of working in a manufacturing environment and be looking to drive your career forward with a small, innovative business. Broad computer skills. Sage. Multi currency. Working with senior management across a company.Able to think on your feet.
