Caring Choice Support Services and Activity Centre provide day care facilities for adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. We believe that all people have the right to live an independent, full and active life. Everybody has the right to privacy, dignity, independence, choice and self-expression.
We are currently looking for a support worker who believes in these values too. If you have a caring attitude, happy disposition and would like to help make a difference, we would like to hear from you.
Applicants must have experience within the care sector (ideally learning disabilities) and a minimum NVQ level 2 in Social Care. You should be able to demonstrate a flexible yet reliable approach whilst having the confidence to handle complex or challenging behaviours.
In return, you will receive a salary of up to £8 per hour, with working hours being Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. You will also receive 20 days annual leave (plus bank holidays).
All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
