Hornby Hobbies brand portfolio encompasses Hornby model railways, Scalextric slot car racing, Airfix plastic kits, Humbrol specialist paints and Corgi diecast, along with a number of internationally renowned model railway brands.
We have a vacancy for a Technical Administrator working with our Scalextric Development team and main duties include:
• creating, maintaining and transmitting technical specifications for the Scalextric brand;
• data input and new item generation within Microsoft AX for Scalextric;
• development schedule maintenance for Scalextric;
• liaison with our manufacturers regarding the supply of technical specifications and ensuring production schedules are kept up to date;
• data upload to our data management system for Scalextric;
• creation of all part numbers and bar codes for leaflets/Packs, labels etc;
• creation and modification of product service sheets;
• minor modifications of product and pack artwork.
Our ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Microsoft AX, with experience of Word and Excel. Full training will be given in terms of the Scalextric brand, however a keen interest in our product range would be desirable.
