Our client is currently sourcing an IT Applications Manager, with extensive experience of software applications and the full life-cycle management of software applications. This role will be based in the Mid Kent area and working for our market leading client. As the IT Applications Manager you will be taking an integral role within the Technology Division and play a major role in the current and future landscape of software applications within the business

This is a demanding role, ideally suited to someone with a broad range of skills along with the desire to keep learning, engaging and further developing skills in other technologies and someone who is sourcing a rewarding career within Information Technology

Responsibilities:

* Complete oversight of our core business software applications - both current and future products added to the portfolio
* To act as an ambassador and primary point of contact for core applications across the business
* Relationship management of external suppliers
* To act as an escalation for internal business users for support related matters
* To track supplier performance issues and provide reporting to Senior Management
* Understanding and translating business requirements into technical requirements
* Overseeing development testing and the coordination of user testing and release management
* To oversee day to day issue resolution and provide feedback to the business
* Drive forward development and enhancements to the product, in line with business requests
* Prioritising requirements and ensuring these are managed with external suppliers
* Identify future requirements to ensure the solutions remain fit for purpose
