We are currently looking to recruit 9 permanent packaging operators to work a rotating shift pattern working 0600-1400 one week and 1400-2200 the next week.
Main purpose of the role
To package Pharmaceutical and Veterinary products under the guidance of a Line Coordinator ensuring that current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Regulatory, and Safety standards are met or exceeded.
To operate machinery (or hand pack) as trained or instructed to package pharmaceuticals and veterinary products with high quality, safety and efficiency standards.
Accountabilities
1. Work safely and in line with cGMP at all times, ensuring full compliance of self and others with BOPs.
2. Processes finished pack shop orders in accordance with production schedule: sets up, operate and clean equipment; perform line clearances, check in bulk finishing and product returning to the line; perform and document in process quality checks
3. Promote good housekeeping standards at all times and in all areas of work: equipment, workspace and documentation.
4. Effectively communicate with team members, Line Coordinators, and members of other Departments to: ensure smooth hand over, resolve issues and ensure smooth operation.
5. Strive to improve line performance – safety, quality and output.
6. Report unsafe acts, conditions or equipment and promote safety awareness.
7. Behave professionally, with a positive attitude and participate effectively in the team by being open, cooperative and supportive.
8. Ensure own training is kept up to date, including reassessments where applicable, and participate in the training of new and existing team members.
9. Carry out other tasks and duties as and when required.
