We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operator to join a focused operations team within our Potent Manufacturing Facility based at our Queenborough site in Kent. As a Production Operator you will be responsible for the manufacture and packaging of a potent drug in a GMP environment whilst adhering to Health and Safety regulations.

Reporting to the Potent Manufacturing Facility Line Coordinator, you will work closely with other Production Operatives to ensure a high quality product and first class service is delivered to our external customers.

Ideally you will have previous experience within a GMP regulated manufacturing environment. However, we will consider candidates who have a good standard of education, a positive attitude, and a willingness to undertake training.

Key Accountabilities of the role include:

• Works safely and in line with cGMP at all times, ensuring full compliance of self and others with BOPs.
• Manufactures, compresses and blisters product within the Potent Manufacturing Facility.
• Perform multi-skill tasks towards a mechanical bias. Therefore be competent in the use of varied hand tools.
• Carry out in-process checks at all stages of potent manufacture to ensure quality.
• Perform check weights to ensure correct materials and amounts are present prior to manufacture.
• Perform calculations and checks at all stages of process for control limits and yields.
• Processes finished pack shop orders in accordance with production schedule: sets up, operates and cleans equipment; performs line clearances, checks in bulk finishing’s and products returning to the line; performs and documents in process quality checks.
• Promotes good housekeeping standards at all times and in all areas of work: equipment, workspace and documentation.
• Effectively communicates with team members, team leader, and members of other Departments to: ensure smooth hand over, resolve issues and ensure smooth operation.
• Strives to improve line performance – safety, quality and output.
• Reports unsafe acts, conditions or equipment and promotes safety awareness.
• Behaves professionally, with a positive attitude and participates effectively in the team by being open, cooperative and supportive.
• Ensures own training is kept up to date, including reassessments where applicable, and participates in the training of new and existing team members.
• Carries out other tasks and duties as and when required.
