Telesales- Services
Part Time 20 hours a week – 4 hours a day Mon-Fri during business hours
Requirement:
Basic £15K– OTE £25K
Checkmate is the UK’s leading innovator, designer, manufacturer and trainer of lifting and height safety equipment.
Checkmate is part of the global Pure Safety Group, and as part of our continued ambition for growth we require a B2B telesales person to support our services and training divisions.
In this role you will be meeting (though exceeding is better) sales targets for our service divisions , but also booking visits, arranging access and customer feedback. You will also need to produce and follow up quotes, and use your organisational and administrative skills to ensure accurate records are kept.
You will be targeted on securing new business UK and selling our services as well as managing existing clients to ensure you up sell and cross sell to increase customer retention.
Who we are looking for:
• A closer not a lead-generator
• A Hunter not a farmer
• The tenacity of a Jack Russell with a sock combined with charm and likeability.
• The resilience of the T-1000 (ask Alexa about this one if you are not a Terminator fan).
• Gets excited by the close, but not so excited that the paper-trail get missed – (you will need to be competent in MS office, especially excel).
• Previous experience of telesales would be nice, though if you can convince us you have the right motivation and behaviours to succeed and don’t have the experience, we would love to hear from you also.
What you’ll be doing
• Making outbound calls (cold and warm) to businesses across the whole of the UK
• Speaking to the decision maker and discussing our company and services
• Providing clients with product information and prices
• Closing sales over the phone
• Generating a targeted amount of business opportunities per day
• Working towards daily KPI productivity and conversion targets
• Managing your own pipeline
• Following up the sale with correct documentation

Salary:
