Ever fancied working in the travel industry? We are looking for a motivated and driven Marketing and Admin Assistant to enrol onto an apprenticeship scheme to study towards a Business Administration Level 3 with us in Maidstone. Ski Amis are a catered chalet company that have been crafting flexible ski holiday packages in France for nearly 30 years.
In this role, you will work directly for the General Manager and the Sales and Marketing Manager, but will support the whole team and gain numerous different skills. This is a varied job which will call on a number of skills and give you the opportunity to learn new skills too!
Your responsibilities will include
- General Administrative Tasks
- Marketing Support including social media, writing content and graphics design
- Facilities Management (buildings and office facilities, managing supplies)
- Health and Safety Compliance
- HR Administration
- Sales Support
- Project and Business Development
Skills and Qualifications Required
- You must have achieved at least 5 subjects in GCSE Grades A to C with at least Grade 5 or “C” at GCSE Maths and English
- You must be very organised, efficient and motivated by results
- Good ICT skills and be fast on the keyboard
- You need to have a confident and chatty personality – but understand the importance of focus and productivity in the workplace
- You will need excellent writing skills and be able to write persuasive and informative replies to enquiries with correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
- You will need excellent writing skills to also be able to produce marketing content and articles
- Flexibility is required with working hours as you will be expected to work on a shift system during the winter. You will work a mixture of late and early shifts - weekends and bank holidays are shared between the team on a monthly rota
- You must be motivated to succeed and committed to the development of a career in a fast moving industry which serves a demanding public
Preferred Skills (but not necessary)
- Some experience with graphic design or Photoshop
- Customer service experience
- Basic Excel knowledge
- Ideally, you will be a skier or snowboarder yourself
