Mental Health Residential Ltd is an established charity providing services and support to nine people who have, or are recovering from mental health issues. In this role you will be working with vulnerable adults, to maximise their independence in all areas of living skills, to integrate into the community, achieve a high quality of life and work in partnership with multi-disciplinary health care teams.
Good communication skills (verbal and written English) are essential along with some IT skills.
At least one year’s appropriate experience is desirable, with NVQ 2/ QCF Level 2 in Social Care or equivalent. A willingness to work towards NVQ 3/ QCF Level 3 in Social Care is necessary.
Shifts include a variety of day/evening/weekend/ Sleep-ins/ plus allowances for sleep-ins.
Gross pay in the range of £21537 (£11.04 per hour) to £22671 (£ 11.62 per hour) depending upon whether NVQ or QCF qualification achieved.
• Generous holidays 25 days plus bank holidays
• Generous mileage allowance when providing support
• Free training plus DBS certificate
• 37.5 hours per week shift pattern with a permanent contract
