Job Purpose:

To undertake and maintain cleaning requirements and procedure across the building including production areas, offices, canteen, kitchen and toilets.

Key responsibilities include:

• To carry out any cleaning process or cleaning operation as trained and advised by any senior team member ensuring strict conformance to procedure.
• To follow and adhere to the cleaning schedule at all times
• To adhere to QA and Health & Safety cleaning instructions and guidelines whilst carrying out any task.
• To prioritise cleaning tasks in order to fully facilitate production plan.
• To ensure the execution of any cleaning task against correct procedures.
• To develop manual skills geared to the dismantling and re-assembling of machinery.
• To ensure strict conformance to all H&S procedures, company hygiene rules and safe handling of chemicals.
• To participate as member of the hygiene operations team providing input to continuous improvement.
• To ensure all cleaning equipment is used and left in a safe and hygienic condition.
• To ensure that all cleaning equipment and tools are removed from the work area and that the lines are left clean for production.
• To ensure correct and timely completion of all associated cleaning records
• To be responsible for tool box records and contents
• Cover for other members of the Hygiene Team including Facilities Hygiene if required.

Full training will be provided; however, the successful applicant will be expected to display the following attributes and skills:

• To demonstrate an understanding of hygiene and cleaning procedures
• Be able to self-motivate and prioritise
• The ability to undertake the daily challenges of the role in their stride
• To be able to work to high standards and take pride in their work

The company is a 7 day a week operation. The successful applicant will be required to work 5 nights a week 15:00 to Midnight and potentially work weekends. Due to the location of this company, own transport is essential.
