Lauriem Complete Care are a successful social care organisation and KCC contracted provider and are committed to providing excellent quality care for people in their own homes. Due to business growth, we are looking for a Coordination Assistant to support our West Kent team based in our Aylesford office.

Hours:
This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week over 2 weeks on a rota basis. Week 1: working Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5pm with 1 hour for lunch. Week 2: working 3 weekdays from 8:30am until 5pm with 1 hour for lunch and Saturday and Sunday from 7am until 2pm with a 30-minute paid lunch. You will be based in our Aylesford office. Flexibility will be needed as the role may require help covering other out of hours shifts during times of annual leave and sickness, time off in lieu will be given during the week.

Responsibilities:
• Support the Area Coordinator in core administrative tasks, such as checking and filing care plans, risk assessments, MAR charts and client records; answering the phone to customers and staff.
• Support the Area Coordinator with rotas and at times oversee some areas rotas, the allocating of client calls to Community Care Workers bearing in mind availability, SDO requirements/needs and travel time.
• Liaise with Community Care Workers, Supervisors, Service Users, families, hospitals, Doctors, District Nurses and Care Management.
• To support the On-Call team during out of hours when needed (sickness / annual leave), ensuring that all Service User’s visits are allocated to a member of care staff and to support and deal with any issues that are reported in. This will be in the evening and/or at weekends, notice and time off in lieu will be given in the week.

Job Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a similar office role preferred.
• Must live locally, have a good geographical knowledge of West Kent and be a driver due to the office loaction.
• Knowledge of the care industry and CQC regulations & data protection act.
• Be knowledgeable regarding safeguarding vulnerable adults, health and safety, equality and diversity.
• Computer literate.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to probe and follow up on issues.
