A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced part time (c.25 hours per week) bookkeeper/payroll/finance administrator to join our growing team in our Tonbridge office. Hours are flexible.

The role:
As a firm who pride ourselves in client service, you will have experience in running client’s bookkeeping and payrolls in an accountancy practice independently and to a high standard.

As part of the bookkeeping/finance administrator role, you will raise invoices, record receipts and payments, reconcile bank accounts and provide monthly management accounts. You will also be expected to liaise with third parties, so excellent communications skills are essential.

As part of the payroll role, you will be required to prepare client’s payrolls, including dealing with auto-enrolment, statutory sick pay and other benefits, preparing Forms P11D/P11Db, P45, P60 and pay slips etc.

You may also be required to perform general office duties, such as telephone calls, welcoming clients and filing.

You should be proficient in Word and Excel, and experience with Iris Kashflow, Sage payroll and Payroll Manager is preferred. You will also need to be able to use multiple software, due to client needs, and be adaptable.

You will need to be well organised and be able to work in a timeous manner, with the ability to work to deadlines and calmly under pressure. The ability to work by yourself as well as part of a team is essential. Excellent attention to detail is a must.

Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice dealing with multiple payrolls and bookkeeping
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail is essential
• Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to work in a timeous manner and under pressure to meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Sage payroll
• Working knowledge of Iris Kashflow, Sage Accounts, Payroll Manager and Xero beneficial, but full training will be provided
