We are looking to recruit an experienced Supply Chain and Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and supply chain teams at our leading UK manufacturing site in Gravesend.

Moove Lubricants is a leading provider of automotive fluids, oils and chemicals throughout the UK, Europe and Asia. At Moove, you will be part of a global manufacturer and expert marketer of quality automotive motor oils and car care chemicals.


Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Designing and implementing supply chains that support business strategies.
• Develop and implement new systems, supply chain best practices and cost reduction.
• Identifying and managing risk within Supply Chain
• Managing activities related to purchasing, material requirements planning, inventory control, warehousing and receiving
• Managing Supply Chain and Procurement team.
• Managing direct procurement contracts
• Managing & improving suppliers’ perfomance
• Forecast demand and create supply plans.
• Accountable for phase in /phase out processes and products (new product launching on time, phasing out with zero/ or minimal scrapping value impact);
• Coordinating engineering changes, product line extensions, new product launches to ensure orderly and timely transitions in material or production flow;
• Monitoring supplier performance.
• Cost analyses
• Leading Strategic Projects


Skills required:

• A university degree.
• Experience in Supply Chain.
• Experience in a similar environment e.g manufacturing, technical , FMCG
• Good background in Production Planning and cost control, managing deliveries and executions of monthly plan.
• Procurement experience- ideally in direct spend categories
• Experience in a LEAN environment
• SAP experience
• Experience of managing teams including managing performance and developing process.
• Ability to produce and present accurate reports and procedures
• Excellent communication, relationship building and inter-personal skills to deal with people at all levels.
