As one of the UK’s biggest distributors of tools, fixings/fasteners and consumables to the construction industry, ParkerTools are looking for a driven, organised and highly motivated sales person to join our team.
As the Sales Developer you will be generating new business and building strong working relationships with key existing accounts.
Your focus will be on core product area’s including fixings and fasteners, hand railing systems and abrasives, supplying customers quotations based off material schedules and drawings.
You will be responsible for sales in excess of £500,000 per year, handling both inbound and outbound sales calls in a busy environment.
A good knowledge of tools, fasteners and consumables, or experience selling B2B over the phone would be an advantage but full training will be given.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a sales environment within the construction industry but more important is the willingness to succeed.
Key skills required for this role include; excellent communication and IT skills plus the desire, drive and determination to hit individual and team targets.
Hours of work: 42.5 between 08:30hrs – 17:30hrs Monday to Friday.
