Clarion Futures is looking for an enthusiastic individual to support the roll out of digital inclusion activity in line with our One Digital project work. This post is offered on a Fixed Term Contract until March 2020.
One Digital is a unique Big Lottery funded collaborative digital skills programme developed by Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO), Age UK, Citizens Online, Digital Unite and Clarion Futures. At the heart of One Digital lies the recruitment, training and support of Digital Champions to deliver basic digital skills. Whilst each partner organisation has a slightly different approach to delivering Digital Champion support, each One Digital project is bound by two key goals:
1 Helping those who are digitally excluded to develop their basic digital skills.
2 Developing a sustainable model for digital inclusion support work.
The Clarion Futures One Digital project aims to build the knowledge, confidence and ability of people who would benefit from digital support as they look for employment, or look to improve their employment situation. As part of this work Clarion are developing and embedding a digital skills screening tool to identify & explore the basic digital skill needs of clients.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional One Digital Project Analyst to really help shape what we understand within the digital inclusion sector.
Supporting the One Digital Manager with the set-up and monitoring of digital screening tool activity both internally and for our replication partners, you'll monitor and analyse data generated from the screening tool and compile reports for different audiences. We'll ask you to work with evaluators, Clarion Futures and replicating partners to further develop and refine the screening tool platform as well as develop and deliver digital screening tool workshops, working groups and 1:2:1 sessions for One Digital Stakeholders in order to upskill, inform and improve knowledge demonstrate findings.
We'll look to you to support One Digital Coordinators with the roll out of One Digital screening and to also support replicating partners to deliver and monitor Digital Champion screening support.
You'll need to have experience of data management, SmartSurvey use, evaluation or research, an understanding of the barriers to digital inclusion, and a commitment to promoting digital inclusion for vulnerable people. You'll be an excellent communicator, organised with a good eye for detail and possess the drive to see complex projects and tasks through.
