Do you want a role that enables you to make a real difference to the lives of children, young people and their families in Kent? Do you recognise the challenges of transition between primary and secondary school? Do you believe that families have a vital role in making the transition successful? Do you want to build emotional well-being and resilience with children, young people and their families?

Do you have the professional experience and skills to work with children, young people and their families individually and in groups? Can you demonstrate the difference you can make?

If your answer is “yes!” to these questions, then we hope you may be interested to hear that we are seeking to appoint a Transition Mentor as part of the HeadStart Kent Programme. These roles offer an exciting opportunity to use evidence based approaches and programmes of support to achieve maximum impact.

While your background may be in education, counselling, youth work or any other related area, we are particularly looking for highly motivated, dynamic and talented individuals, experienced at working creatively and innovatively, in group settings, to achieve change.
