Laboratory Technician role - Contract
Our client is looking for a Laboratory Technician to work within a manufacturing laboratory
The role will involve working closely with the Operations Manager and Quality Control departments to report and test products.
You will need to have relevant degree OR experience working in laboratories with test samples
This is a 3 month temporary role with a chance for a longer contract.
It is a pre requisite you live locally to Sittingbourne.
Excellent hourly rates paid.
Role
The technicians, working a full 24 hour shift cover 7 days a week, with 4 days on and 4 days off, will collect samples on a scheduled frequency and return to the laboratory.
Analytical ability is critical for this testing with confident use of 4 figure balances and micro pipettes required to deliver the necessary accuracy.
All technicians will need to pass a competency test in laboratory techniques before commencing work.
All results will be documented and entered into bespoke software, where full training will be given
The daily averages of these results will be reviewed in the production meetings both inhouse and externally for global recipients.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for either a graduate or someone looking for more experience within a large manufacturing process, for global organisation.
Please note due to shift patterns this will be working 4 days at 12 hours and then 4 days off.
