Job Description:

Junior Web Developer to join a fast pace fast growing digital agency.

Involved in the coding and technical development process to build mobile­‐first responsive sites using the most up-to-date technologies and frameworks. Hands­‐on coding fully responsive email templates that work across all major email platforms and that meet the latest W3C accessibility standards.

You will have a clear understanding of web technologies and experience of working with the creation/development of websites and will be given the opportunity to broaden your knowledge within this field.

Keys Skills/Experience
· WordPress and Advanced Custom Fields Knowledge
· Experience in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Javascript, PHP, Bootstrap and Foundation
· Experience working with CSS pre-­processors (e.g. SASS, LESS, Gulp, Grunt)
· Experience with SQL databases
· Photoshop experience
· Experience of one year. Agency experience (or similar) preferred

Beneficial Skills/Experience
· Version control with GitHub/BitBucket
· Knowledge of SEO best practice
· JavaScript (experience with AJAX, knowledge of frameworks such as node and angular would be
an advantage)
· Able to communicate ideas and solve problems from a technical perspective
· Experience migrating websites from development to live environments

Principle Responsibilities:

· Producing responsive websites from scratch using the latest frameworks
· Bug Fixing/Quality Assurance
· Integrating static websites into WordPress
· Staying up-to-date with new trends and web technologies according to coding standards
· Contributing ideas for new websites and products
· Setting up test servers, maintaining existing website code
· Manage server and daily backups and monthly client web maintenance agreements
