Exciting opportunity in Birchington for an enthusiastic sous chef with a passion for food & cooking.
A Restaurant with Boutique Rooms are seeking a talented sous chef with at least 2 years’ experience.
A creative individual with plenty of ideas who can work alone or as part of a busy team.
We have a 60-cover restaurant, creating seasonal menus and a head chef who enjoys designing new dishes.
You must be dedicated to food quality and set high standards, you must have high energy and be prepared to work minimum 48 hours p.w
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a well-equipped kitchen using local, fresh & organic ingredients
Requirements of successful candidate:
1) Stock rotation/food labelling
2) Kitchen hygiene
3) food hygiene (level 2)
4) Assist head chef with menus, costings etc
5) work well in absence of the head chef
6) Managing food purchasing
