Are you a warm and natural host with a positive attitude and a cheerful disposition who is looking for a new characterful pub to make their own?
My client is part of an extremely successful and popular gastro pub group however each pub is unique and has a different personality and clientele. They offer a high quality menu featuring great British classics and flavours from further afield, all prepared each day using fresh ingredients and served with care. This is accompanied by some great cask ales, good wine and an interesting selection of spirits. All this adds to the relaxed ambiance which is the key to a comfortable place for people to meet.
A General Manager is required with good business acumen, as you will be involved in all facets of running a substantial business: You will develop menus with your chef team, select your own wine and beers, find many of your own suppliers and negotiate prices whilst driving quality standards and profitability.
This is a General Manager role where your charismatic personality will make the difference to the client’s enjoyment and you will lead a happy team who drives quality standards and profitability.
In return you will be offered a very competitive salary plus a range of benefits including pension, child care vouchers and more.
