Housing Support Officer

Based at: YMCATG Dartford
Hours of work: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday – Sunday; includes evenings, weekends and bank holidays)
Salary: £22,327.56 per annum inclusive & competitive benefits
Contract: Fixed Term 6 months (possibility of extension) – Maternity Cover
Closing Date: Tuesday 14th August 2018 at 12noon

About the job and who we need…

We are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Officer at our Dartford site.

The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude to work with a can do approach to any challenge that arises. You will hold a genuine appetite to improve services and a desire to reach for the highest standards. Our ideal candidate will be flexible, creative, collaborative and a desire for personal development.

We are looking for candidates who have knowledge and experience in doing transition work with socially excluded young people and hold specific experience in delivering projects addressing issues such as, drug dependency, NEET (not in education, employment or training), life-skills programme, etc.

If you are able to conduct yourself in a professional manner and have the skills to support residents on issues concerning their social and personal matters, money management and employment skills you just may be the person that we are looking for.
