The Role
Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to work as part of our Facilities Management Cleaning & Waste team as one of our Cleaners?
Our Cleaning Team play a vital role in maintaining a clean and well-cared-for University. The role involves being responsible for the day to day cleaning across a wide variety of areas across the University including offices, circulation areas, teaching rooms, toilets, etc.

You will have relevant experience of cleaning, be proud of the contribution you make to a positive University environment, and be passionate about delivering excellent results. You will be able to work with the minimum of supervision, follow specific work schedules and be able to receive and act on instructions.

Estates Department
The Estates Department provides a number of essential services to the University of Kent and is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the extensive grounds and buildings; the security of students, staff and visitors; transport and travel; a postal service and the telephone exchange as well as the University Design & Print Centre. It is also responsible for the buildings, new development and construction projects both at Canterbury and at our Medway campus at Chatham Maritime and on the Chatham Historic Dock Yard.
