CHEF DE PARTIE – straight shifts - £21,000 – no late finishes & every other weekend off
This private school is currently seeking a talented Chef de Partie to strengthen the brigade.
This is not typical school catering as the standards are incredibly high and as much as possible made from fresh produce. So previous experience within a fresh food kitchen will be essential along with NVQ level 1 & 2 or the equivalent.
Working within a brigade of 12 chefs you will have the opportunity to train on all sections of the kitchen catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner for up to 1,400 covers for lunch and approximately 350-400 breakfast and suppers. Ideally they are looking for an imaginative and creative chef with plenty of enthusiasm for their work.
The hours are straight 8-9 hour shifts between7.00am and 7.30pm, no late finishes and every other weekend off. Other benefits include a 40 hour week, uniforms provided, a meal on duty and use of their leisure facilities.
