Full time. 7:30am – 3:30pm (Mon-Thurs) 7:30am – 3:00pm (Fri)

Job Description
Cleaning and Caretaking duties
- Full cleaning duties of offices, kitchen, chamber, and toilets.
- Setting up chamber hall hirers (which may involve weekend work)
- Cleaning up crockery and cleaning after events
- Maintenance of shrub borders
- Keep car park clean and tidy, litter picking, sweeping, and grit laying as required
- Maintain/order stocks of cleaning and catering supplies
- To be “on call” as keyholder for Council Chamber lettings and security
- system
- Holiday cover for caretakers at other Town Council facilities
Facilities
- Carry out regular alarm testing across Town Council facilities
- Carry out regular legionella testing across Town Council facilities
- Carry out PAT testing across Town Council facilities
- Carry out ‘handyman’ level repairs and maintenance to Town Council facilities
- Liaise with contractors for professional repairs and maintenance of Town Council facilities
- Assist with regular Health and Safety visits
Training provided.
Full driver’s licence required and access to own vehicle
Outline Terms and Conditions
• 37 hours per week
• 21 days annual leave
• £18,500 pa
