Personal Domestic Carer Saltwood

We are looking for a caring, energetic, cheerful, confident, empathetic and personable Personal Domestic Carer, to working in a domestic home in Saltwood. You will be personal assistant/carer to assist in all areas of domestic and social need, both at home and while out.
This is 6 months Maternity cover and could progress to a permanent position as they have a small team.

Hours: Mon – Fri 9am to 5.30 pm (flexibility needed to cover the weekend carers holiday etc as and when it arises) Live In could be arranged if relocating to the area

Location: Saltwood, Nr Hythe Kent

Salary: £21,000

Job Purpose: To assist with personal and domestic care, meal preparation, shopping, attending appointments, social activities, companionship and medication.

Details:

• All Personal day to day care
• Administering medication (full training will be provided)
• Helping with home and domestic duties around the home such as general cleaning and laundry including Hoovering, washing up and emptying bins.
• Helping prepare meals
• Driving the client to appointments and social activities in their disability car
• Carrying out any other requests which the employer may reasonably make.
• Respect possessions and equipment and to use them only with prior consent

Desirable Nursing background
