About the role
We are looking for a Lecturer in A-level Physics and/or Mathematics to join our A-level team at West Kent College.

As a Lecturer in Physics and/or Mathematics, you will teach Physics and/or Mathematics to our A-level students. The role is full time if you are willing to teach across both subject areas, however, candidates wishing to apply to teach either Maths or Physics will be considered (these roles would be part-time).

The ideal candidate will have [previous experience of teaching Physics and/or Mathematics at A-level along with a teacher qualification e.g. DTTLS, PGCE, Certificate of Education or equivalent or the desire to achieve a teaching qualification along with experience or a subject specialism in Physics and/or Mathematics. It is essential that candidates have a degree in a relevant subject and graduates with a desire to work towards a teaching qualification are encouraged to apply. You must have Level 2, or equivalent, Literacy and L3 Numeracy qualifications.
About the team

The A-level department is based at our West Kent Campus and comprises a dedicated team of professionals delivering 14 different A-level subjects to approximately 200 students. As a department we aim to support our students to achieve the best possible outcomes for our students who progress to university, apprenticeships and employment following the completion of their studies. All students follow a linear A-level pathway.
