Through continued company expansion, a position has arisen at a leading UK manufacturer in the pet food industry, specialising in creating suet based products for feeding wild birds. The company has over 25 years’ experience as a leading innovator within the industry with its design, development and core manufacturing business based at its extensive site in Kent.
Reportable to the Marketing Manager and supporting the wider team we are looking for a motivated individual to join our growing team based in Sittingbourne.
The successful individual must be able to work in a busy and fast paced team, where juggling multiple priorities is a must. Excellent organisational and IT skills are essential.

This is a varied role including but not limited to:
• Assisting team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested.
• Assisting the Marketing Manager with the creation of quarterly plans for all marketing activities
• Assisting the Marketing Manager with the development of the marketing strategy for each segment of the business
• Management of website development projects alongside the Online Marketing Specialist, liaising with in-house staff ensuring projects are completed within set timescales where relevant
• Manage the written and creative content of the website, blogs, and marketing templates, ensuring that they are up to date and meet the needs of the business
• Analysis and tracking competitor activity and monitoring of marketing performance through on and offline campaigns (assisted by the Marketing Coordinator)
• Responsible alongside the Online Marketing Specialist for the overall strategy of our social media pages
• Responsible for setting up a CMS database and tracking systems for marketing campaigns offline (online campaigns to be worked on alongside the Online Marketing Specialist)
• Production of artwork briefs for offline campaigns
• Produce clear and concise written correspondence in the form of letters and emails
• Responsible for the organisation and attendance of shows, meetings and presentations where re-quired
• Responsible for maintaining relationships with outside organisations such as Kent Wildlife Trust, Swale in Bloom etc
• Where required to produce additional marketing communications, such as flyers, brochures and exhibition related projects
• Preparation of monthly reports and analysis on all marketing activities
