Restaurant Supervisor
(£8.13 per hour)
Port Lympne Reserve is undoubtedly one of the UK’s hidden gems that really should be on everyone’s ‘must do that’ list. Spanning 600 acres of beautiful countryside, with stunning views, Port Lympne is the only wild animal park in Europe to offer unique short breaks, where guests can wake up surrounded by animals, go on safari, enjoy once in a lifetime animal encounters and most importantly be part of real conservation in action.
At Port Lympne Reserve we require a Restaurant Supervisor for our unique restaurant which serves our guests staying at our Hotel Mansion overnight accommodation experience, and our award-winning wedding and event.
Duties of the role will include:
- Provide staff with support and training.
- Ensure that high standards are maintained in cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation
- Manage and maintain all the equipment.
- Manage the cashing up and change ordering.
- Working alongside the Restaurant Manager with stock management including deliveries, rotation, and waste control.
The Person:
The Ideal candidate with have prior experience gained in a similar high end service environment. You will have the ability to prioritise, make appropriate decisions under pressure and be able to juggle various tasks at once to ensure everything runs smoothly.
You will have good problem solving abilities and a proven track record of maintaining exceptional standards of service and presentation. Strong team leadership skills, excellent communication skills and an understanding that the needs of the guest come first at all times are essential for this role.
The role 30 - 40 hours per week. Working hours will be mostly evenings, some days and will include weekends and bank holidays normally worked in shifts over five days a week.
Due to our remote location a reliable form of transport is advantageous.
