Just Like Us, the LGBT+ charity for young people, is recruiting a Regional Coordinator to help launch a new volunteer hub in Margate, adding to our five existing hubs elsewhere in the UK. In this hub, you’ll recruit promising local LGBT+ young adult volunteers, and train them to visit schools delivering talks and workshops that champion LGBT+ equality. You’ll also build long-lasting links with Kent schools and colleges, and coordinate visits to help us transform the lives of LGBT+ young people. As this is our first hub in a non-university area, you’ll help us to learn lessons from this pilot and to make the hub a success.
Location: Working from home, with frequent travel in Thanet and Kent more broadly
Hours: around 12 hours/week
