Senior Buyer - Commercial - £28,400
I am working for an extremely large growing organisation based in the heart of Kent! They have successfully completed a new and improved restructure within the ever-growing procurement team. Now due to an expansion within commission and sourcing they are on the hunt for 2 Senior Buyers.

The Role
The ideal Senior Buyer will be monitoring the 2/3 buyers within the commissioning team as well as providing support to the tactical buyers. You will ensure procurement activity is conducted in accordance with changes in legislation as well as understanding the supply markets to identify potential suppliers and market trends. You will also identify the need for, create, maintain and support to Commercial Advisors on on-line catalogues including the supplier on-boarding process. The Senior Buyer will be reporting into the Procurement Manager and live within a commutable distance of Mid Kent.
The Candidate
The chosen Senior Buyer will have at least 3 years solid buying experience. You will be working towards a Level 4 MICPS and although not necessary have a degree or an NQ Level 5. You be a commercially minded individual, who is open to new ideas. The Buyer will be a natural problem solve, who uses imitative with all tasks. The Senior Buyer will have a strong grasp on evaluating and understanding tenders.

If you are successful through to offer The Senior Buyer will be offered a basic package of up to £28,412 (dependant on experience) with exception scope to progress higher. You will also be enrolled on to a fantastic pension scheme and health care package and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
