Buyer - Commercial - £21,750



I am working for an extremely large growing organisation based in the heart of Kent! They have successfully completed a new and improved restructure within the ever-growing procurement team. Now due to an expansion within commission and sourcing they are on the hunt for a Buyer.

The Role

The dedicated and enthusiastic buyer will help to further develop the commissioning team and support with the low tactical spend areas of indirect goods and services. You will be preparing tendering documents for low tactical spend categories, as well as analysing procurement spend and supply. The Buyer will be supporting the Senior Buyers. With this supporting role there is a clear progression career path within this large organisation and with the willingness to succeed help will be provided for promotions.



The Candidate

The chosen Buyer will have at least a solid 6 month experience or have a solid role where buying was at least 50% of the role. It is highly desirable to be working towards a Level 4 MICPS, although not necessary. You will be a motivated individual, with a willingness to learn more and be presentable at all times. The Buyer will be a natural problem solver and have experience with the full procurement/buying cycle. You must be a commutable distance to Kent.



The Benefits

If you are successful through to offer The Buyer will be offered a basic package of £19,800 - £21,789 (dependant on experience) with exception scope to progress higher. You will also be enrolled on to a fantastic pension scheme and health care package and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
