Description of Role:
Based in Edenbridge Kent we are looking for an experienced driver to drive a modern Ford Transit LWB delivering and collecting from sites and premises in London and the South East, when not driving you will be performing warehouse duties, managing and counting stock and generally assisting in the running of the business.

You will possess a positive approach and be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. For Insurance purposes you will be over 25 and have a full clean driving license and accident free driving record. Normal working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm with an hour for lunch, there will be times when you will be expected to start early or finish late as the business demands.

As a small business it is necessary to be flexible with regards to one’s approach to the running of a warehouse and office premises and the various duties that become apparent during daily operation eg. Keeping the environment, clean and tidy and other light duties.

Reporting to and working closely with Management, your duties will involve but not be limited to the following:
• Driving and delivering in London and the South East,
• Loading and Unloading vehicle sometimes manually, a good degree of physical fitness will be required.
• Operation of the activities inside the Warehouse including, loading, unloading.
• Working on your own initiative and as part of a team.
• Maintaining accurate records.
• Maintaining a Safe Working Environment.
• A high degree of communication skills both written and verbal to effectively and politely deal with clients, suppliers and colleagues in maintaining a high level of customer service and promoting the services of the company.
• General Warehouse Duties, packaging, preparation for dispatch, cleaning etc.

There may be occasions where it will be necessary and it is imperative that you are completely flexible with regards to your duties, due to the nature of the business and in the maintenance of client service.
