GIT version control, Golang, Perl, JavaScript, COBOL, Open Source, Docker, GitHub, OOD/OOP
WANTED: Technically Capable Software Developer comfortable with new technologies; proven with existing software development languages and a logical mindset.
Our client uses a variety of programming languages from COBOL to JavaScript currently.
As part of its global growth they are looking for a capable developer to join the IT team in helping improve business efficiencies and design; develop, test and support software applications; used in the business currently or as the development team grows.
A core background of software development, documentation, software testing and business interaction needed coupled with an appetite to improve the technical development environment using a wide variety of languages.
Ideally you will have some experience around GIT version control (alongside perhaps JavaScript or COBOL or other programming language).
Based Kent / Surrey border area there will be some home / remote working but the bulk of the role is office based.
Permanent position only. Salary level of £45K to a max of £70K for an experienced person.
