Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our therapy team and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will support the Occupational Therapist and Physiotherapist in delivering an empowering approach to Hospice palliative care, encouraging and enabling patients with progressive life limiting illness to live as independently as possible and offer those close to them the opportunity of support. This may involve visiting patients in their own homes, carrying out exercise and mobility programs and providing equipment to patients under the supervision of the therapist. This role also assumes responsibility for daily administrative tasks.
Candidates must have excellent communication skills, a caring approach, relevant therapy experience and be confident working both as part of a team and independently. You must also have excellent ICT skill. Previous experience in a healthcare or palliative care setting would be desirable.
