Ever fancied working in the travel industry? We are looking for motivated and driven Sales Consultants to enrol onto an apprenticeship scheme to study towards a Customer Service Level 3 qualification with us in Maidstone. Ski Amis are a catered chalet company that have been crafting flexible ski holiday packages in France for nearly 30 years.

If you are a skier or snowboarder and would like to talk about it all day, then this is the job for you! In this role, you will report to the Sales and Marketing Manager and be among a driven, enthusiastic team of sales consultants.

Your responsibilities will include

• Responding to Enquiries
• Dealing with Reservations
• Booking Administration
• Maximising Sales Conversions
• Up-selling Extra Services
• Achieving Sales Targets

Skills and Qualifications Required

• You must have achieved at least 5 subjects in GCSE Grades A to C with at least Grade 5 or “C” at GCSE Maths and English
• Good telephone manner and confident personality
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Experienced skier or snowboarder able to understand what a client needs on a ski holiday and advise on solutions (preferred requirement)
• Understanding of the importance of excellent customer service and providing what the customer wants in an efficient manner
• Good computer skills – good keyboard skills
• Drive and commitment
• To be able to work in a team to achieve sales targets
• You must be motivated to succeed and committed to the development of a career in a fast moving industry which serves a demanding public
• Flexibility is required with working hours as you will be expected to work on a shift system during the winter. You will work a mixture of late and early shifts - weekends and bank holidays are shared between the team on a monthly rota

The successful candidates will be based at the Company’s Head Office in Maidstone, Kent but must be prepared to travel as necessary for the proper fulfilment of the role, including attending all training events in proper completion of the course and spending periods abroad in resort as necessary.
