ACT are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Trainee, sheet metal engineer/powder coater. The position is open to those with some experience in either engineering or powder coating. The successful applicants will have varied roles around the workshops and will in time, learn many different facets of the industry. Training on all duties will be given and applicants must be prepared to learn new tasks on a daily basis and apply this learning in other areas.
ACT manufacture one offs and multiple quantities, depending on orders. A keen eye for detail and ability to problem solve is a definite requirement. Some items will require manual handling and this can be heavy and or bulky items. After a suitable period of time, the right persons will have the opportunity to be trained and tested on forklift and CNC machinery, operating and programming.
Priority will be given to persons that can demonstrate their ability to work hard and eagerness to learn and develop their skills.
Immediate start.
