Watts Farms are a successful and fast paced family run fresh produce business. We are looking for a Customer Relationship Manager to join our Watts Farms Catering team who supply over 600 restaurants, hotels and contract caterers with fresh produce.
Job Description
As a Customer Relationship Manager at Watts Farms, the successful candidate will be field based dealing directly with an existing customer portfolio. They will work to provide quality customer service by dealing with new product enquiries, developing customer product range and resolving any queries for the customers within their portfolio.
With 10 sites in Kent, Essex and Bedfordshire and more than 350 employees, this is an exciting time to join the company as the successful individual will be part of the team helping to drive the business forwards in the coming years.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role will include:
• Build and maintain an excellent rapport with chefs, procurement managers and other key staff.
• Organise and attend customer meetings on a daily basis.
• Manage an existing customer portfolio of approximately £4,000,000 annual turnover.
• Upsell new product ranges.
• Identify areas of low sales/margin and increase within portfolio.
• Promote the company at trade shows and customer development days.
• Follow up new sales enquiries delegated by Sales manager.
• Assist the Pricing Team to achieve margin targets.
Requirements for this role:
• Sales or customer service experience
• B2B sales experience would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, self-motivated and proactive with strong attention to detail.
• Confident when engaging with customers and colleagues of all levels.
• Flexible and adaptable in approach to work with the ability to multi-task.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Happy to travel with full driving licence and own vehicle
• Moderate Excel skills
Working Hours
8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday
You will also be required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays from midday – 6pm on a rota basis.
