Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join the Safety, Quality and Environment department. The post holder will be responsible for delivering a Quality Management System and associated improvement projects that deliver continuous improvement in the quality of port services to our customers.

You will be required to:
- Work closely with managers and staff across the port and undertake a leadership role that champions customer and stakeholder value and puts quality at the heart of how we work.
- Provide a proactive, efficient and professional quality advisory service which takes into account the requirements of legislation, industry recognised standards and best practise.
- Ensure that the Quality Management System is improved and maintained for all activities carried out within the ports jurisdiction; including those of its tenants, contractors and supply chain in accordance with the requirements of the ISO9001 standard.
- Integrate the quality, environmental and safety management systems in order to deliver a more efficient and effective total management system for all.
- Advise management on the formulation and suitability of processes and procedures throughout the whole product lifecycle in order to deliver a quality end product to the customer.
- Ensure the implementation, monitoring and reporting of Key Performance Indicators for the quality of the ports products and services.
- Liaise with staff, port users, customers, stakeholders, contractors and the supply chain on quality issues.

Skills and Qualifications
- Practitioner of the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) or equivalent
- Lead auditor ISO9001
- Practical knowledge of ISO9001, OSAS18001 and ISO14001
- Full, clean driving licence and use of own car
