We are a Canterbury based online retailer of hair products looking for a new member to join our team to help handle customer services and day to day order management. We are a young and growing business, looking for the right person who is driven, hard-working and looking for a challenge. The role will be greatly varied, with lots of opportunities to gain experience in all areas of the business, so an eagerness to learn and a can-do attitude is a must.
Prior Experience:
Customer service experience and a good telephone manner are essential and prior experience must be able to be demonstrated.
Main duties
Your day to day tasks will centre around packing and processing orders and dealing with customer enquiries by phone and email.
You will:
Pick and pack customer orders
Liaise with couriers
Process exchanges and refunds
Answering customer questions via email and telephone
Take telephone orders
In addition to this you will also assist with:
General office administration
Assistant to Directors
Full product training will be provided.
Person Specification:
Order management experience is not essential as full training will be provided
You will need to enjoy speaking to customers and be happy to work under your own initiative
You must be a proficient computer user
You will have good writing abilities
Punctual and professional
An enthusiastic attitude
You will need your own transport as you may be asked to perform local errands from time to time.
