My client situated in Dover is looking to expand its current finance function with a Finance Systems Administrator/Analyst on a permanent basis. This is a newly created position to assist the business with the accuracy of data reported from retail and accounting systems. This role will cover the analysis of sales, stock and reporting of inventory.
Key skills and experience required:
-Working closely with the finance and IT teams to develop and improve procedures and policies for the use of the sales and stock system.
-Become the go to point of contact for all system enquires.
-Developing and maintaining process to make sure all systems are working the same way.
-Providing analysis on trends and proving commentary to support findings.
-Analysing and reporting on inventory levels both in store and in the warehouses.
-Providing regular pricing analysis of stock to ensure current values and levels.
-Providing analysis on wastages, shrinkages and short counts of the company`s assets.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a finance background and experience of working with a variety of systems. Communication is going to be key to the success of this position, you will be required to deal with a variety of non-financial people at various levels. Study support will also be provided should someone wish to study towards either their ACCA or CIMA qualification.
