I am working with a large independent practice in the Tunbridge Wells area that is looking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper to work in their bureau services team. This role would suit a well-rounded, effective communicator who can take responsibility for supporting the managers by taking on a lead role within the team. You will benefit from working with a professional and very friendly team. There is a great ethos within the firm.
You will be responsible for working with the team, supporting them, reviewing the accounts and VAT work of the trainees within the team. Acting at the first point of contacts to the clients: your role will be to support them with any VAT and bookkeeping queries, managing their requirements, managing the workflow and servicing internal and external business partners.
You will meet clients regularly and correspond with them on VAT and Bookkeeping matters, train and support in Sage and Xero to clients and internal staff and provide basic company secretarial support. You will carry out VAT, the preparation of management accounts, company secretarial work, sage systems setups as well as acting as the engagement manager for the team. You will work closely to support the managers, effectively managing, co-ordinating and communicating,
