A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a Top 20 Accountancy Practice in the Kent area. The company are well established and have been experiencing sustained growth over the past 12 months. Due to the increased work and demand within the market they have several opportunities for Trainee Accountants and Semi Seniors. The positions would suit candidates who have 12-24 months practice experience looking to gain further exposure, within a fast paced organisation.
The company offer one of the best training contracts in the area alongside competitive salaries.
Reporting into Seniors and Managers you will be responsible and gain further invaluable exposure in the following duties:
- Responsible for a portfolio of clients, ranging from partnerships, sole traders and limited liability companies
- Providing financial information and advice
- Auditing financial information
- Prepare, calculate and submit statutory accounts and tax returns
- Identify financial and compliance risks to clients
- VAT returns
- Liaise with HMRC
The ideal candidate should be able to prove their experience gained from a similar role, and be working towards their ACA/ACCA qualification, with at least 12 months exposure working within the practice environment The successful candidate's will be rewarded with a very competitive salary and benefits package, to include, full study support, a clear progression path, parking and company pension scheme.
