am urgently looking for some Transfer Operatives/Forklift drivers to on a 4 on 4 off basis either on a day shift or night shift (6-6)
Your Key tasks and Responsibilities will be:
To co-ordinate the transfer of processed raw materials for internal Silos through to the correct packing line for packing as finished goods.
The movement of palletised finished goods as the come off the end of the packing line and moving to locations within the warehouse.
To ensure that goods are moved and loaded correctly, safely and efficiently
To ensure that the warehouse area is kept clean at all times.
To ensure the safety of oneself and others at all times
The safe usage of the forklift truck including daily routine checks on the vehicle before using it.
Be prepared to develop the necessary skills and to efficiently carry out all tasks
Flexibility to be an all round team member and help out with packing,stacking and on the process line as required.
Any other reasonable duties as required.
Skills Knowledge and Experience:
Previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
1500kg counterbalance forklift licence with proven experience post qualification
Able to follow instructions and use own initiative .
Able to complete tasks quickly and accurately.
Good communication skills.
Good team working skills.
