Our client based in Maidstone town centre is looking to recruit a PR Manager on a temp to perm basis. The successful candidate will have experience within a communications or journalism environment; this role would suit someone who is ready to make a key step in their career, having already gained experience in-house or at a PR agency. The PR Manager will support the team in the delivery of a range of services related to the promotion and adoption of mobile technology.
The Role:
• researching and writing press releases.
• liaising with the media and assisting with the planning and delivery of creative PR programmes, activities and campaigns.
• working with the social media team and blogging team to ensure maximum message impact.
To be considered for the role of PR Account Executive the successful candidate will have the following skills/knowledge:
• It is essential that you are able to develop strong relationships with media contacts and complete tasks accurately and on time.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate initiative, creativity, flexibility and tenacity.
• A degree in Public Relations or Journalism is preferable, but not essential for candidates who can demonstrate appropriate skills, capabilities, interests and determination to learn and succeed.
• Perfect spelling and grammar are required as are artistic flare and an understanding of how to "hijack the news".
The permanent salary for this role will be £25000 to £35000 dependent on experience.
