Assistant Fund Accountant job West Kent £20k-£25 looking for active studiers with Management Accounts exposure

Your new company
You will be working for an established Financial Services organisation based in the West Kent area. The assistant Fund Accountant job will assist the fund accountant with a view to managing the accounts for your own fund portfolio.

Your new role
You will be responsible for completing each of these tasks for each fund you are overseeing. This would include preparing (monthly/yearly/adhoc) management accounts/audit file, maintaining the purchase ledger, sales ledger and cashbooks. You will also be agreeing Fund payments, reviewing tax returns, reviewing Fund agreements and keeping track of Fund deadlines. You will also complete the preparation of annual reports and investor unit valuations as well as other Ad-hoc duties as the company requires

What you'll need to succeed
You will be actively studying CIMA/ACCA with previous P&L and Balance Sheet exposure. You will have excellent Excel skills including pivot table s and vlookups. You will have good attention to detail and be hard working hard working.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £20k - £25k with full study support after successful completion of probation period plus 20 days holiday increasing to 25 after 1 year of service. You will be working 9 - 5 Monday to Friday with parking onsite.
