We have a great opportunity for a transport and warehouse operative to work for a manufacturing company based in Edenbridge. You must hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence and have your driving licence, as you will be required to move stock between the companies two sites, using a work vehicle.
The work will be;
• Stock control, dealing with issues or returned products and helping with monthly stock counts.
• Goods in and out, creating and sorting deliveries from pick lists, organising and loading deliveries.
• Familiarising yourself with health and safety procedures and ensuring the team work within those guidelines.
The ideal candidate will be computer literate; a basic knowledge of excel, word and emails is a necessity and previous knowledge of MIS systems would be an advantage, able to work effectively alone or within a group as well as able to organise themselves and their team. The successful candidate will be asked to cover the duties of the department manager in their absence.
Hours will be Monday to Friday between 6am and 9pm, 37 ½ hours per week working 7 ½ hour shifts. You will be required to be a flexible in your working times dependant on the business needs.
This position is available immediately and will require an interview. This is a straight to permanent position.
