My client, a prestigious professional services business based in West Kent, is looking to recruit a Financial Systems Analyst.  This position will link in closely with the finance and project teams within the organisation and have exposure to senior partners.
 
Work with the Project Manager, Data Analyst and external consultants to ensure the successful extraction and import of the firms` PMS data.
 
-      Create appropriate test scripts and undertake detailed user acceptance testing of migrated data and developed solutions.
-      Gather requirements from the Finance team and work with the Project Team to spec developed solutions, templates and workflows in the PMS.
-      Assess requests for changes and development of new features in the PMS.
-      Work with the Head of Finance to recommend appropriate reports, based on knowledge of the firm and future business needs.
-      Design and produce reports and data analysis in response to requirements.
-      Customise financial reports and dashboards.
-      Take responsibility for data integrity within the firm`s PMS.
-      Work with the Project Team to develop solutions to improve / automate financial processes.
-      Proactively keep up to date with system enhancements, new developments and alternative solutions, assuring the firm`s financial systems remain at the forefront of capability.
-      Liaison between Finance, Project and IT teams for PMS system changes or upgrades.
-      Maintain best practice for financial data maintenance and management.
-      Ensuring active archiving and deletion of PMS data in line with the firm`s data retention policy.
-      Provide support to the wider finance function with month end / year end processes or on special projects as required by the Head of Finance.
 
The Successful Applicant
 
-      ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or qualified by experience.
-      Excellent IT, organisational and interpersonal skills.
-      Methodical and systems orientated approach and a desire to achieve results with a timetable.
-      Advanced Excel.
