Farrer Barnes is currently working with a local success story towards the placement of a Project Accountant. This is a newly created role that is required to assist during a period of aggressive expansion.
Reporting to and working closely with the Financial Manager, and deputising for that role in his absence, you will be accountable for the implementation of corporation accounting systems and financial procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for the undertaking of project work and assignments, and manage the cash flow reporting process.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised accountancy qualification, or be close to the conclusion of one. You will have acquired sound financial systems understanding and have exemplary Excel capabilities. Being a good communicator and the ability to actively implement new procedures as and when the need arises are essential to this role. A flexible and dynamic approach paired with the ability to work on your own initiative will be what will set you apart from your peers.
