Our manufacturing client based in the Borough Green area is offering an excellent opportunity for someone to join them as a Production Operator on a possible temporary to permanent basis.
The successful applicant will need to be able to work as part of a team, follow strict health & safety procedures, and operate plant machinery to produce a high quality product.
The average working week of 42 hours will be worked on a continental shift pattern of 12-hour shifts operating over complete 7 day weeks (days, nights and weekends) with the opportunity to earn overtime.
The initial hourly pay rate will be a flat rate of £9.50 per hour rising to £12.99 per hour after 12 weeks.
Applicants should have:
• Experience of working within a factory.
• Previously worked 12-hour day/night shift patterns.
• Ideally (but not essential) experience of mixing and batching systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, basic IT skills.
• A good secondary education.
• A good understanding of health & safety.
• Ideally (but not essential) a counterbalance forklift licence
The initial hourly pay rate will be a flat rate of £9.50 per hour rising to £12.99 per hour after 12 weeks.
Due to the hours or work applicants will need to have their own transport or live locally to Borough Green.
