Our very busy client based in Dartford is looking for a Fenestration Site Supervisor to join their fast growing glazing company.
The Salary will range from £29,000/£33,000 depending on experience
Monday to Friday
Full Clean Driving Licence
Must have 3 years exp in the Fenestration Industry
Reporting directly to the Project Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site activities relating to the construction, commissioning & handover to the Client of a range of projects on complex operational sites.
The Site Supervisor will develop a close working relationship with the Clients site staff in order to minimise the impact of construction activities on manufacturing operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Have full site responsibility and report to Projects Director
• Have full understanding of all site requirements through liaison with Projects Managers for each job before works commence on site
• Be responsible for all site operatives including sub-contractors, ensuring they uphold all company policies when working on site
• Adhere to and promote all company policies and procedures in place including those relating to HR and health and safety
• Abide by all statutory requirements including those relating to health and safety
• Be responsible for on-site problem solving
• Complete the works on time & within agreed financial budgets within a safe framework
• Being the company representative ensuring positive company image is portrayed at all times
• Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
Key Skills
• Ability to read detailed construction drawings
• Experience of working in a similar environment
• Good attention to detail
• Must have strong customer service skills and have the ability to interact confidently with customers at all levels
Key Attributes
• Experience of direct customer contact at various levels - customer focussed role
• Ability to monitor a number of projects simultaneously
• Professional and Positive approach
• Self motivated
• Strong in building relationships
• Team Player and able to work on own initiative
• Dynamic and Assertive
• SMSTS Card Holder desirable
